Chairwoman of White Ribbon Ukraine, CEO and Founder White Ribbon USA
Veronika Mudra is a Chairwoman of the White Ribbon Ukraine, founder and CEO of the White Ribbon USA. Veronika and her son received asylum in the US under domestic violence protection program. She successfully advocated for the new law criminalizing domestic violence in the Parliament of Ukraine, under her management White Ribbon in Ukraine achieved support from the U.S. and Canadian Embassies, National Police, the First Lady of Ukraine Olena Zelenska, launched the first in Ukraine mobile app for domestic violence victims. In the US her management focus is on legislation for the refugees under protection programs, governmental and nongovernmental campaigns, affordable housing, launching White Ribbon mobile app on federal level and producing films about women rights. Veronika is also TEDxWOMEN speaker, former member of Women. Peace. Security platform and IPCC gender task group.
Alona Mykytenko
CEO White Ribbon Ukraine
Alona Mykytenko is CEO of White Ribbon Ukraine, she was CEO of the organization since 2018 previously and returned to this position in 2024. She’s a team member of White Ribbon in Ukraine since 2016. Alona has been actively involved in awareness campaigns of White Ribbon Ukraine in the Parliament of Ukraine, U.S. Embassy and America House. She took part in art exhibitions dedicated to women rights in Kyiv and Mariupol, as well as annual White Ribbon Days in Ukrainian Parliament. Anastasiia creates branding, design and merchandise for White Ribbon Campaign.
Weronika Marczuk
Founder White Ribbon Ukraine
Weronika Marczuk is a Ukrainian-born Polish film producer, lawyer, actress, author, social activist, and television personality. Marczuk is the co-owner of the production company Sting Communication and a member of the Polish Film Academy. In 2014 Weronika founded White Ribbon Ukraine in Kyiv. From 2015 to 2016, Marczuk was the organizer of a series of exhibitions “Genotype of Freedom” by Ivan Marczuk, listed by the Daily Telegraph among the hundred living geniuses of the world. In 2016, she was invited to Kyiv, together with a team of Polish managers, to manage the state-owned Ukrainian Railways, where she worked as the Management Board Director for two years. Also in 2016, she became the president and co-founder of a women’s non-governmental organization in Kyiv “International Women’s Entrepreneurship Embassy”. In 2018, she started working at the Polish-Ukrainian Chamber of Commerce as the managing director of the subsidiary Polish Business Center in Kiev. Since 2019, she has been the PUIG representative for the Ukrainian market and a member of the Chamber Council.
