White Ribbon – is the world’s largest men’s initiative against all forms of violence against women and children.
The White Ribbon movement was founded by Canadian men in 1991.
Representative offices of the White Ribbon Campaign operate in more than 90 countries around the world.
White Ribbon represents a personal oath never to commit, silence, or justify violence against women.
THE BEST AMONG US
In 2009, the UN Secretary-General established an international network of male leaders who oppose violence against women. The network includes writer Paolo Coelho, former President of Chile Ricardo Lagos, Foreign Minister of Italy Franco Frattini, Prime Minister of Spain Jose Zapatero, etc.
Sir Paul McCartney, David Beckham, Andriy Shevchenko, Francois Pinault, Harry Styles, Naomi Campbell, and others wear a white ribbon in solidarity.

WhiteRibbonUA app
Ukraine has introduced the first mobile platform “WhiteRibbonUA” to protect women and children from domestic violence. The project is a state-of-the-art personal safety tool that provides the necessary resources for assistance and the ability to report emergencies to the appropriate authorities if the victim is in danger.
The initiators of a socially necessary resource were the Ukrainian representative office of the international public movement against violence “White Ribbon” in partnership with the Tetyana Ramus Foundation and with the support of the Democracy Promotion Foundation of the US Embassy in Ukraine.
