Julie Ward
Julie Ward is a former Member of the European Parliament. She served on the Committee for Women's Rights & Gender Equality from 2014-19. She participated in Committee missions to Sweden, Croatia, Germany and Rwanda, visiting women's shelters and refugee projects. She also participated in a CARE mission to Malawi to look at women's health projects.
Julie worked on the parliament’s Gender Mainstreaming Report and was appointed the Gender Mainstreaming Co-ordinator for the Committee for Culture & Education. She was twice the Socialist and Democrats representative at UNCSW in New York. She worked extensively on issues such as FGM, Social Cohesion and Marginalised Communities, Women and Mental Health, Women and Girls’ Empowerment Through Education. Julie was an active member of Women In Parliaments Global Forum and also Parliamentarians for Global Action, making a visit to Ukraine to present the PGA toolkit for promoting LGBT rights. She is a Child Rights Campaigner and volunteers with International Child Press.
Prior to being elected Julie was a regional co-ordinator for One Billion Rising. She has a background in arts and culture and in 2012 participated in a year long cultural management exchange project with peers in Ukraine. In 2018 she opened a hospital in Ivankiv that was supported by EU funding. She currently works as a Creative Producer in the north east of England.

Andrea is a Civil Justice Lawyer at JUSTICE and brings with her a range of experience from a varied practice within human rights and public law.
After graduating from the LLB and the Diploma in Professional Legal Practice at the University of Glasgow, Andrea went on to work in employment law at Anderson Strathern LLP before spending two years at the Scottish Child Abuse Inquiry where she led on the investigation of historic abuse within religious institutions.
As a legal researcher to Edward Fitzgerald QC at Doughty Street Chambers, Andrea has a special interest in human rights and judicial review and has provided research for several high-profile cases including those involving death penalty appeals at the Privy Council.
Whilst completing a litigation-based traineeship at Brodies LLP, Andrea spent six months on secondment with the Scottish Government Legal Directorate where she furthered her experience in policy work, judicial review and legislative reform.
As a law undergraduate, Andrea was awarded the John Mathers ‘Rising Star’ Award and the Muscatelli Talent Scholarship. In her final year of her Undergraduate degree, she co-founded a charity supporting refugees and spent time volunteering at Dunkerque refugee camp. Andrea continues to carry out voluntary work and currently runs two Christmas appeals benefitting care home residents and under-privileged children.

Tetyana Ramus is a Ukrainian journalist, public figure and artist, has been a Goodwill Ambassador for White Ribbon Ukraine and White Ribbon USA since 2019.
Tetyana Ramus and her brand ARTRAMUS joined the international public movement White Ribbon in 2019.
The purpose of the cooperation is to unite international and national leaders of public opinion, experts on the concept of #ChangeHelpPrevent.
